The Sony DVCAM & Mini-DV decks are an unbelievably critical piece of any skate video maker or filmer's equipment arsenal. A huge asset for keeping your camera's heads from all the wear and tear that comes with fast forwarding and playing back your DV tapes and also the amazing speed at which you can rewind and fast forward a full tape in comparison to using your camera's VTR mode. It also is great to use for capturing any analog material, like footage from an old Hi-8 camera/deck or a VHS deck, since it allows you to tie directly into the machine with RCA cables or S video so you can digitize your old analog media directly into your computer. Or use the RCA outputs to connect to a monitor. It will ship to you with it's own power cord.
This deck came from a TV production facility and appears to have been used extensively, so you'll notice some marks, scratches and wear on the exterior of the body. The digital display is also not super bright, as pictured in the detail photos provided. We have tested it for playback and it's in good working condition.
*We're also including 3 component video adapters, as seen on the back side of the deck in our detail photos, which will allow you to plug your monitor or analog source material directly into the deck/
