Carlos Elidio "Wagwan" Video Part From Brazil
We were recently contacted by Carlos Elidio ( @carlosddudu ) down in Sao Paulo, Brazil about a video part he just finished. His story was inspiring and heartfelt and we wanted to help him get the video part out to the world as best we could. So we're hosting it here for your viewing pleasure. This part was filmed off and on over a period of 4 years and completed mostly early in 2020. But when his friends' hard drive crashed they had to start all over again from scratch. As they began working on the new version of the part, Carlos found the amazing speech from a benefit concert in memory of the Watts riots in 1965. The speech he chose to open up the part with was powerful and meaningful to Carlos. But by the time the video part released, the world had really changed and the uprisings in the United States had sent a wave of inspiration to people around the world. Carlos found this pretty serendipitous and so did we. So we thought it would be rad to share his part, especially considering how important the BLM movement has been to all of us at TOA as well as to Carlos and his community.
Take a peek and enjoy. Thanks to Carlos for sharing this part with us. And thanks to his friend @luanjohnny_ for editing it and letting us share it as well.
