Joel Meinholz has been keeping us entertained for over 20 years. From his early footage in TWS videos, to his part in the first Static video, FORE & Friends, Welcome to MIA, Rasa Libre videos, Static IV and countless other projects, it's impossible to not have seen at least a couple of his parts. Joel's uncontainable raw energy and power smashes through the TV screen and keeps the viewer wide-eyed, wondering what's going to happen next. But filming with Joel in person is a whole other can of worms. I've seen him head butt cars, caving the door in without even blinking an eye, hence the nickname "The Kool-Aid Man" because he smashes through walls when he skates and never takes no for an answer. It's amazing.
Joel passed through NYC recently to attend Steve Brandi's art show so we caught him in the street and shot a little "Philosophy With..." piece just in time to provide you with a little quarantine entertainment. Joel is the best and hopefully you enjoy this little interview as much as we do.
