Dustin Eggeling and the Hopps team spent a lot of time skating in circles at Reggaeton this winter, and Chase Walker was behind the lens to document everything going down. RIP to the Space Jam mural.
Watch Aaron Herrington cruise through downtown Brooklyn and Seaport, doing tricks we’d never dream of, all captured on James Thompson’s 16MM.
The MAGENTAPES parts just keep coming. Free Skate Mag is hosting the video’s San Francisco section (complete with Jameel Douglas’ absurd manual combo), and Place is hosting the Vivien + Soy + Ruben part.
Paul Young’s working on a new VX project, expected to drop sometime next year. All is right in the world.
Two excellent full lengths out of England dropped in the last few weeks:
Welcome 2: Hell is the second full length produced by Welcome Skateshop out of Leeds. Lots of northern England footage in here, paired with an excellent soundtrack.
Much Quiet is the Vans Europe video with a delightful Rory Milanes + Danny Brady shared part, new Conor Charleson footage, and a Joseph Bias ender part.
I can’t remember if I posted Andrew Meyer’s flinch last week, but it’s good enough to post again. VX1000, Sabotage-adjacent, footage from Tyler Dietterich and Kevin Liedtke, it’s the real deal.
Static alum Yaje Popson filmed a full part in his native Brazil.
