That's right!....the ever popular TOA re-edit contest is BACK, baby! And this time we're focusing on one of the most vibey parts of the last decade, Jordan Trahan's epic 'Static VI' part Submit your own creative take on Jordan's part and our favorite edit will win a $250 TOA gift card, a Static VI gift pack and get featured on the TOA Youtube channel!..details below
THE CHALLENGE IS ON!
We're giving you full, unfiltered access to ALL of Jordan's raw footage from the Static VI project as well as the 16mm b-roll, sound effects, slams and even some clips that weren't used in the final edit. Can you bring a new vibe to Jordan's footage and create a compelling edit that wow's the guys behind the original video? We're giving you 2 weeks to work on your edits and upload them to your own Youtube or Vimeo channels. Better get to work!

HOW TO ENTER!
In order for you to win, we actually need to be able to find and see your edits!...so, please follow these simple steps:
1-Upload your edit to your own Youtube or Vimeo channel and then leave a comment at the bottom of this post with your name and a link to your edit
2-Do an Instagram hard post about your edit and tag @theoriesofatlantis, @j0rdantrahan and @staticvideoseries and add the hashtag #static6remix
Then our crack team of judges (Josh Stewart, Jordan Trahan, Jake Todd & Pat Stiener) will pick their favorites and ask for your feedback to make the final decision.
Remember, the deadline for entries is JULY 31st!

Hi Josh,
I’m really proud to share with you my edit proposal for Jordan’s part.
My goals with this edit were, first, to think out of the box and try my luck on a more aggro / punk track to match Jordan’s powerful style, and then next illustrate his flow on a free jazz experiment as an ode to Greg Hunt’s Stereo Tin Can Folklore edits.
I put a lot of efforts into this edit, hope you will enjoy it.

I’m from Louisiana and ride for Rukus which is the first shop Jordan rode for so of course this contest was a must do. I was also there that day for the back noseblunt on the 3 stair ledge in baton rouge. It didnt make the final cut for the video but you know i had to throw it in the re-edit! Thank you Josh for putting this on and nice meeting you that day in BR. It was extremely fun to go through and watch all the raw footy. BTW this is the first thing ive ever truly edited besides and instagram edits on my phone. hope you dont think its totally shit.
