Inside the Skater's Studio With Ricky Oyola: Eastern Exposure 3 "Underachievers"

We dare you to find a more inspiring or stronger street-skating video out there better than Eastern Exposure 3. The power, creativity and purity of this video are pretty unmatched but the timing of it's release is critically important. Premiering in 1996, the impact this video had on the world was incredible. It literally changed how most street skaters approached skating and filming. Moving us into the streets, where we should've been all along. We can't say enough about the importance of EE3 but we're going to let Ricky take it away.
Paul Zitzer happened to be in town in late 2019, right at the same time Ricky Oyola was passing through NYC on his way to a Traffic Japan trip. So we snuck them both into the TOA office and forced a new Skater's Studio episode with them both. Unforunately we had a microphone malfunction and ended up shelving the footage for years, with a plan of refilming it. But since coordinating 2 legends to be back in the city at the same time is pretty impossible, we decided to clean it up the best we could and finally get this banger out into the world. So, please enjoy one of the best episodes of Skater's Studio we've done yet. Bad audio and all.
