Deeper Web: The DEEP DISH 'Respect' Video

Mark Dunning has been shedding light on one of the Chicago skate scene for years with the awesome Deep Dish video series. One of the most incredible cities for skateboarding in the United States, it's baffling why the skate scene has been ignored for so long. During a recent trip to Chicago over the past 2 weeks, the TOA crew was able to roll around the the Deep Dish crew and get a feel for the Windy City and we were shocked by not only how rad the skate spots are but even more how rad the skate scene and it's skaters are. A small group of true friends with a wide diversity of styles and talent. And a crew of dedicated filmers and even a photographer who are obviously doing it for no other reason than for the love of being out with friends and capturing rad skateboarding.

We were lucky enough to attend the world premiere of the 4th installment of the Deep Dish series, "Respect", last Friday and it was a rad experience to be in the mix of during such a rad moment for the local scene. Launched online 2 days ago, the video is really dope and captures the skills and personality of some of Chicago's raddest skaters. So, if you haven't seen it yet, take a moment to sit down during your lunch break and enjoy a glimpse into the hidden gem that is the Chicago skate scene. You won't regret it.......
