At State's End

At State's End

Our guy Nyle Lovett just dropped an amazing part in Aaron Christopher’s COLT, an indie video out of Indianapolis. If you like long ledge lines at spots you’ve never seen before, you don’t wanna miss this one! DVDs are still available in the web store, as well.

The influx of lockdown videos that started late last year continues this week:

  • THE HARDBODY VIDEO is Emilio Cuilan’s latest. Highlights include full parts from Hopps rider Joseph Delgado and Static alum Yaje Popson, Antonio Durao going uphill  on face high spots, and Shawn Powers’ best part since Caviar.
  • Terminal, Deep Dish’s eighth full-length video in as many years, with yet another amazing Brett Weinstein part full of insane lines at Chase.

  • Jacob Harris compiled some of his favorite clips of Tom Knox at St. Paul’s over the past decade for the man’s thirtieth and teased something new to do with the spot.

As an outsider, the yellow barriers always struck me as an unsung hero of the Boston scene: dependable and remarkable on film, but never flashy or a marquee spot. Ian Browning chats with Jerry Fowler about the barriers for the first installment of Pin Drop, now live on Orchard’s website.

There’s a good chunk of Brad Cromer and Brendan Carroll footage in Jeff Cecere’s Why Me. Heckride also squeezed in a Brad Cromer interview just before deadline, in which he teases a new part next month.
