We just can't resist picking up anything Egyptian or Egyptian-themed when we're out and about digging through vintage whatnot at garage sales and thrift stores.
This decorative brass hanging plate was probably made in the 1980's but it's hard to say for sure since there is no date or maker's mark. But it was likely purchased in Cairo from a tourist shop at some point and then made it's way to America. It has a rad little map engraved on the back showing a breakdown of the Egyptian cities and attractions as well as a triangular hanging hook.
There is some paint wear on the edge of the plate, so please review all detail photos before purchasing. This is a used item that is at least 40+ years old so it has some wear and imperfections but it's still quite a cool piece for the wall.
