This is a tested and working Canon ES550 8mm camcorder with it's original box, remote control with 2 AA batteries, the camera's DC power supply and battery charger, it's original battery and a brand new 8mm sealed tape. The camera is in great condition and we have tested all primary functions including recording, playback and fast forward/rewind and it all performs well. The only thing we can't say for sure is if the battery will hold a charge. Usually, the batteries from these older cameras from the 90's don't hold a charge. So we would say there's a good chance you will likely need to buy a new replacement battery to use this camera when it's not plugged into it's power cord.
