The TOA Times is our very own original publication, started in 2016 and printed on high quality newsprint. The paper varies with every issue but always includes articles and interviews with skaters inside and outside of the TOA crew as well as an activities page including a crossword puzzle and original comics.
Issue #5: Lucky Number 13. Proudly reaching issue 5 the new issue of the TOA Times is choc full of great content. Featuring a "Catch & Release" article with French photographic legend Benjamin Deberdt, an awesome feature on the Traffic Skateboards "Look Left" tour in Tokyo, Japan, a Momentary Relapse with Mark "The Shark" Wetzel and a crossword puzzle, games and activities to keep you busy on your morning commute to work.
Issue #4: Fake News and The New Dimension. The 4th installment of the TOA Times features a Catch & Release article with Brett Weinstein, Metro Retro with Soy Panday, a Behind the Scenes look of Traffic's Look Left Video, a Momentary Relapse with Chris Aylen & Nick Jensen, trivia, comics, crossword, and more.
Issue #3: The Chicago Edition, The Deep Dish Conspiracy with 8 pages of color and black and white photographs and interviews with the Spirit Quest crew, Traffic's Hiroki Muraoka, conspiracy articles, trivia, comics, and crossword.
Issue #2: The Escape to LA Edition an 8 page issue with coverage on Joe Yates, John Baragwanath and many others in color and black and white photographs and bits on the LA trip. Comics, trivia and crossword.
Issue #1: This is the very first issue of the TOA Times! A full color 12 page collectible newspaper featuring interviews and stories with TOA riders, artists and brands as well as an activities page for when you're riding the train to go skate, a slow day at the office or to hide behind your books at school. We've been trying to get this project launched for years and it's finally ready to release. This issue features an NYC gallery, an interview with Polar Skate Co's Portland powerhouse Dane Brady, a "Metro-Retro" with Jahmal Williams, a photographer feature with Ben Gore and a whole lot more.
