The lithium batteries seem to be no longer working. You can tell us if you'd like to still receive them but we tested them and they wouldn't take a charge. But this camera uses the SAME batteries as a VX-1000, so we tested it with our VX batteries and it worked beautifully. It powers on, records to tape and plays back clean with no issues. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe power adapter has a small crack in it where the cord meets the charging plate. Please review detail photos. This currently is not affecting it's effectiveness.
