We have tested the camera with a new battery and it works beautifully....The shutter sounds like true, precise perfection....PLEASE NOTE, the battery compartment door has some very minimal damage on the bottom corner of the door. It still closes and locks fine, but you can see upon close examination that the battery door just has mild damage on the corner.
