One of our favorite east coast styles of all time and a long time friend after his first appearances in the original Static video and his incredible opening part in the Static II video in 2004.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eJohn's incredible technical ability mixed with effortless style and excellent taste made so many of us fans over the decades and it's a true honor to have his name gracing a Theories board. John chose to pursue a traditional Japanese art style for his board graphic, focusing on the \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eKomainu (dragon dog) character, of which his family's home in Okinawa had statues flanking the front entrance when he was young.
