We're super happy to be the only source in the USA for this rad new project from Europe by our good friends Will Harmon and Sam Ashley. The brand new Free Skate Mag was started in an effort to capture the skate scene of western Europe.
The newest issue of Free Mag just arrived, and it's stocked with content.
Issue 64 Features:
@lawrenceravail snapped up the cover with a monumental ollie at the Diocletian's Palace (that countless have eyed up over the years…). Shot by @legallout before the flood of tourists. Inside 🔴 65 you’ll find a piece by @deadhippie on the challenges faced by European skate footwear brands past and present, starting all the way back when @etnies was still called Etnics and taking it up to today with the amazing work of @lastresortab and @village_pm, touching on the efforts of Link Footwear, Aeon, and @fishinglinesworldwide in between. To balance out all the shoe nerdery we also have heavy feature entitled "NEXT", in which we introduce 10 up-and-comers to watch out for in 2026, with ages ranging from 14 to 25 and based in various corners of Europe, all with completely different styles and approaches (swipe to see who we selected). We also caught up with @axelcrusher about his new life in Biarritz, where he shot an article with @vincentmilou, @noahmahieuu and the rest of his new crew, put @rio.bmp's superpowers to good use in the streets of Barcelona with @gerardrierapalau, and got acquainted with @polarskateco's @hguohakansson and his obsession with Andy Kessler… Hell, we somehow even managed to pull off a solid gallery despite most of our contributing photographers being subjected to the same 3 months of appalling weather as us!
