Something about Traffic and Ricky Oyola that it just feels weird to see in HD. But if anybody is going to be producing an HD piece on what is one of the best things left in skateboarding it should be Chris Mulhern. Chris and Grant Yansura have been producing some really watchable and quality stuff for the Berrics as of late and this new Traffic “Trajectory” is no exception. I kept seeing these things pop up for the most random of companies and scratching my head why one hadn’t been done on Traffic yet. Well, the HD skate fairies heard my wishes.
Looks like there’s a new Traffic team rider I’ve never heard of. And Shaun Williams has grown up quite a bit and appears to be shredding Philly pretty hard these days. Also pretty funny to see Stiener and Yonnie Cruz in HD. All around, Chris has done his usual bang-up job on this and I’m pretty intrigued to see part 2. And, hot damn, Rich Adler footage has become almost like rare Guy Mariano footage in the 90’s. Pay attention to that fence ollie near the end of the piece. Dude has rocket boosters in his tiny feet.
Check it out when you get the chance and then go buy a Traffic board.
Why don’t you carry traffic boards?
That was seriously sick, I had to grab my board immediately to go skate after watching it. I hope we can see some footage of Mark Wetzel and Henry Panza in part 2.
Theorizer please start carrying Traffic boards!! No shop in my country carries them.
Sick cant wait for part 2!!!!
To ‘Duh’ and any others who are looking for a Traffic board,
I live in the UK and I wanted to back Traffic, I sent an email to:
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)I got an email back from a UK distributor and they directed me to a shop that stocked them.
The boards are top notch but the one I had didn’t have a coloured layer (I’m kinda strange with that shit).
Hopefully you get a link!
Traffic has it’s own distribution through Syndrome. So it’s not as easy to get into the store. Basically, when I sell Magenta and Palace boards I barely make any profit because it costs so much to box and ship. If I sell Traffic boards on Theories I doubt I could get them at a price that wouldn’t have me losing money. I’ll look into it though. I’d be stoked to have Traffic and Hopps both in the store. As well as Pontus Alv’s brand “Polar”. All really dope underground brands I would be hyped to represent on Theories.
YES, try and get Traffic, Hopps and Polar in the store. That would make getting that stuff so much easier. Weird seeing these guys on something like the berrics, but i’m assuming it’s Chris Mulherns doing. Thats the only redeeming quality of the berrics, that they give guys like that a job.
For some stupid reason I had forgotten that Traffic is distributed by Syndrome. If you live in the US, you can order them from here http://www.store.syndromedist.com/decks_traffic.html with Free grip and relatively cheap (and even in some cases even free) shipping. If you live outside the US you are fucked though, A deck including shipping to my country was around $142
These have free shipping, not sure about international though.
Yea, spot doesn’t do international orders unfortunately.
Anyway, try and back a shop that has them in. It’s good to back independant core skate shops.

haha ricky has skated to “the worm” 3 times now.
Got to love traffic, I don’t know how I feel about the syndrome stuff though
If anyone can’t get Traffic in their countries we do international orders shipped through the post office. Send me an email and we can work it out .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Also if you live in a country that doesn’t have it you should email skate distros in your zone and tell them you want Traffic.
