News: Jimmy Lannon Rides For Magenta
It’s not often I’m excited to receive an email advertisement in my inbox. But this morning I was greeted with the headline “Jimmy Lannon is now on Magenta Skateboards”. Finally a good fitting sponsor for a skater who’s been ripping and putting out sick video parts for ages. Jimmy has put out several video offerings but if you’re not familiar with his skating, check out this part from Joe Perrin’s “The Good Life”. Another few points of interest are a new interview on 48 Blocks with Joel Meinholz. And the “Frame by Frame” video by Romain Batard is now online for your viewing pleasure. Magenta not only is treating us with good holiday news about Jimmy Lannon finding a new home with the French company, they’re also stuffing our stockings with new footy of Jimmy shredding the streets.

“Frame by Frame” is one of those videos that I watched without any stellar expectations. But within seconds of hitting ‘play’ I was shocked and humbled by the talents quickly demonstrated by the filmmaker.
The video has been available for a little while and is still available for purchase directly from the filmmaker. But Romain recently put it up online for viewing, and even provided easy access to each separate video part. Pretty sick.

Damn you really out did yourself with the MIA vid, that blew my mind. Forest’s song was awesome, and Brian Deltorro’s part was so sick I had to rewind and watch again. And, Joel killed everything that was dope!!!
