The BOBD is filled examples of my feeble attempts at photography from yesteryear that never saw the light of day. And an occasional photo that WAS printed but likely slipped under your radar.
Let's see what we've got today.
1. Nate Jones moved to Tampa around the end of the millenium and stuck around for about 1 year. But somehow I manged to end up with more photos of him from this time, than almost anybody else. Here is a front blunt in front of a pawn shop right near the Skatepark of Tampa from about 1999.
2. Some time around 1997-98 I ended up in Atlanta quite often. Back then, there was an empty foundation in the heart of downtown rigged up with ramps, boxes, etc. There was a sick scene of skaters there pretty regularly including Steve Young, Jeremiah Babb, Jay Buck, Graham Bickerstaff, Jed Davis, Stormy Pruett and a skater who'd been killing it since the 80's, Fred Reeves. I was pretty stoked to get a photo of the dude. Unfortunately, it never ran.
3. Jimmy Chadwick, a Florida native, did the California thing for years and eventually made his way back to his home state around the late millenium. Jimmy was one of those incredibly talented skaters who people never really got a chance to appreciate. This straight nollie at the dog track in Tampa was the tip of the iceberg of his skills.
Words cannot describe Jay Buck’s excellence. Love! RIP.
Here we go with the straight nollie thing , dude thats a shifty nollie , sorry .... you wouldnt call a shifty ollie a straght ollie , but i get the drift , he nollied it and landed going forward but shifted the board mid way , ( Nollie shifty ) as far as apreciating Chadwicks skating, i still do , he was a beast ..... Rip Jay Buck . He was a good dude
Jimmy Chadwick nollies a sawhorse
Jimmy is a real ripper. I skated with him in florida and I saw him not skate for a long time and then go destroy a skatepark. noseblunt slide on a big bump to barrier like he never stopped doing them.
Towel I have a question for you. 2 posts down.
Jimmy is the man. Lots of power and always hauled ass. It is rare to get a chance to see him skate now, but when you did get a chance to see him fly around the local concrete park it was amazing. Any other Chadwick photos or footage, Theorizer? I’m buddies with Jimmy’s younger brother, and he would be psyched to see them.
..yes but he rode up to the sawhorse straight on. A straight nollie, as in not skating parallel to it, or at an angle. He obviously turned a little, the dude who took the picture isn’t blind. Use that brain Wayne.

This one’s for you Fabreeze:
Very cool Theorizer! I don’t know if I think that is as ‘ill’ as you think vintage Muska was, but that was hard-hitting and very funny, so hats off!
This place is pretty damn boring without the towel.
Maybe, but I’m saving a FORTUNE on my therapy bills.
Tonight Live from the comments section we present: THEORIZER!!
I know it’s an unrelated topic, but has anyone been following this whole thing with Steve Berra and dude from Exit in Philly? Pretty epic watching berra get schooled.
Can you still skate those barrier things at the dog track?
I believe so…..I think a few of them survived.
