World Premier: MIA Video Trailer

With most of the east coast buried under a good 3 feet of snow right now, it seems only appropriate that most of the country is going to be fixated on the warm climate of Miami, Florida today. That’s right, most of you jocks are gonna be stuffing your fat faces with chips and dip and screaming like little girls while Stuperbowl XLIV mesmorizes you in your living room. But you might as well take a break during the halftime show to watch this world premiere trailer to get a different taste of Miami. And Chris Mulhern just had the world premiere of his newest epic “This Time Tomorrow” in Philadelphia Friday night. I’m anxious to hear some reviews from anybody who saw it.

Check it…...

And in case there’s a problem with the Youtube version, here’s a more compressed version off our server. The opening shot is getting mangled by the compression but the rest of it looks pretty decent still.

This clip and the new site look great, solid line up in there too.  Just want to say thanks for the compressed version, internet capabilities in the USA definately don’t exist everywhere else, so the effort of making clips more accessible is greatly appreciated.

Cool Thanks for the comment Luke. For some reason the highly compressed version looks fine aside from that opening clip of the water. I think there’s something about the way the waves reflect the light that is confusing the compressor under that compression codec. Oh well. Glad you liked it.

Ok. First off I will say this, this website has way too much going on now and I believe this takes away from the comments section and the conversations had in the comments section, which was the best part of this(or I should say the old) website. So now that’s out of the way, you’re saying that it’s a huge help to make a part good if the spots are spots that no one has ever seen before. And then that makes the part good, or “fully backed”? Is that true even if the skating is sub par, or below expectation? Your saying then that the part is good because Kenny has skated spots that no one else has ever seen and that are “bizarre” and are in “remote parts of the world”? And that then means that the part is “good” or “acceptable”. That you’re “fully backing it”. Interesting, because you’ve not once mentioned the skating. You’ve pointed out various aspects of the part, but never the actual skating in it. I find that curious. You’ve also not answered the other question I asked about whether or not you think it’s difficult to have a fully paid ticket around the world, and not be able to find “remote” or “bizarre” spots? You also mentioned Kenny’s part was shorter in length than a normal video part. Why do you think that is? Do you think maybe there was too much time spent on seeking these “remote” and “bizarre” spots and not enough time filming or skating? You also said it’s been a while since you’ve seen that much footage from Kenny. Why do you think that is? What do you think he’s been doing all this time?

This is the problem with your problem with the site. You keep commenting on different parts of the site. You’re having a conversation but splitting it between the comments sections of the MIA trailer scroll and the Jerry Mraz photo scroll. Pick one and stick with it. The “recent comments” will keep your challengers aware of your latest post.

Secondly, did you even READ my comment? It said that new, never skated before spots greatly HELP out a part. I explicitly said that it doesn’t necessarily make a part good. GO back and re-read, Mr. Towel.
And I’ll also tell you that although i had nothing to do with this current part, I know that in my history of filming with Kenny, he usually would buy his own plane tickets and just make trips happen on his own. To hold it against somebody that their company is helping them out with travel is a bit absurd considering nearly every other pro skater benefits from this perk. Even YOU, Towel, only you don’t keep your passport current and were turned away at the border last time you were flown somwehere.
Also, please remember you haven’t even SEEN the bloody part that you’re attempting to dismantle. Why don’t you do us a favor and at LEAST do it that honor so that you have just cause to launch such attacks. And yes, this is an attempted attack. Call it what you will. Sure some tricks in this part were only entertaining because of Kenny’s style and the rad spot he was skating on. But he has several sick tricks that I can remember right now like that bump to bar 50-50 transfer and that 50/50 back 360 into the bank, to name a couple.
Ok, have I answered all your questions yet sir?

So I want to point some shit out here to all these posters who now believe they have to register an email address with Big fucking Brother Theories of Atlantis in order to leave what used to be an anonymous comment. Well you don’t have to register. I “registered” with the Hillsborough County, Theories of Atlantis office using a fake email address, didn’t confirm shit in my fake email account’s inbox and was still able to post my bullshit at the click of a button. That was until this morning when I logged on to my computer to play with Stewart’s fragile ego and conscience and for a little ball breaking when all of a sudden I wasn’t allowed to post. I was like “What the fuck?!” I felt like Stan’s dad Randy on South Park in that episode when they have no internet service in South Park. Mild E-rage. That is until I realized that all I had to do was re-register. So I filled out more bullshit, fed it into the machine and wha-la! I could once again spew my hate and venom all over the thoroughly confusing and many comment sections on the new Tearies of Atlantis website! Free again! So you don’t have to register your personal email account with creepy Josh Stewart in order to post an anonymous comment on his creepy website. All you gotta do is keep re-registering when yo shit clocks out. You’ll know, cause you wont be able to leave a comment. It’ll say “error”, “you haven’t registered your identity with my creepy ass, so I know who you are if you talk shit and if I want to send you a photo of the dude’s balls I teabagged last night”. Or you can just make a fake email account and use that hole. Word up. Keep tha innanet free and clean. Peace!

Towel; I changed the way comments work and right now anyone can post anonymously. No account necessary right now.

If spam gets out of hand we’ll have to require accounts, but until then…

18. by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on February 08 at 08:41 PM

Well I know that’s not how it was presented, but thanks. I mean, what’s commenting if you can’t hide behind a fake name?

19. by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on February 08 at 09:13 PM

I also know that I wasn’t able to post a comment this morning. But thanks again.

Yeah, I’m still waiting to hear from feedback from that video. I’ve really been looking forward to seeing this thing.
Chris has created one of the sickest websites ever made for a skate video to promote This Time Tomorrow. Check it here:
http://www.thistimetomorrowvideo.com
There’s also a page on there listing all the upcoming premieres as they get scheduled.

Yeah, I’m not too excited about the new site. It seems like there is 600 things going on at once, even though there is probably 6, it’s just a little much. Maybe I’m just easily distracted..

MIA trailer’s dope. I was feeling the Vice soundtrack. I don’t know if that is going to be the “theme” of the video, but I’m feelin’ it. At the Dango premiere it looked sick on the big screen. Psyched to see a full Gore, Lucas, DelaTorre part.
