3strikes: Steve Durante
So, I ran into Steve Durante in Miami recently at a flatground spot. After watching him run it in a game of skate with Jimmy Lannon, Jon Newport and Danny Montoya, I asked him if he'd be down to film a "3 Strikes". His response was "What's a 3 strikes?". So, I explained that the way it works is you get 3 attempts to do the longest flatground line you can do. If your first try is a bailed kickflip, then that's what people will see and you only get 2 more attempts. Then Steve said in a thick Jersey accent "Aight....sure". Then he proceeded to push off into the tiny flatground space and knocked it out the park, first pitch. So check out Steve Durante's one strike, aka grand slam.

Such a great addition to the long line of amazing east coast styles and history of skaters.
I don’t care if people hate on 3 strikes, I like seeing these skaters skate flat unrehearsed.
On another note, Newport is looking a few cheeseburgers over the limit.
Haha…naw, that’s actually my fault. I typed in the wrong dimensions for that jpg, so Newport is actually squashed a bit and it’s making his belly look a bit diesel. He’s gonna kill me for posting that photo, but he’s actually ripping and not fat at all.

How do I know what Theorizer is doing in Miami? That definitely takes an investigation to figure out. The dude is a film maker. He films people.
