Olly Todd interview is on it’s way out in an upcoming issue of The Skateboard Mag. Definitely looking forward to that. Thanks to Rodent
for making that happen.
Here’s an alternate version of a line of his from Static Trois. I also have a new idea in the works that I think could be pretty cool. I am proposing a new challenge to our readers. I’ll soon be posting all of the raw footage from a certain skater’s Static III part and making it fully available for download. You can download the raw footage and try to construct your own re-edit of that part and post it online. I’ll host everybody’s remixes on the site and people will get to vote on their favorite.
Should be interesting…..aside from the douche-bags who’ll inevitably post their edits on their Youtube accounts pretending like they filmed all the footage on their own. Oh well.

While I continue to fend off attack after attack by The Baby Bib, I figured I might as well post his true identity…..turns out he’s just a pussy after all. And as we ponder the legitimacy of flatground blog posts, I’ll direct you to my good friend Joe Perrin’s site for an example of just how entertaining it can be.
“Last of The Mohicans” coming soon!….better BUY it, a-holes.

3 Strikes is back, mofuckers! People still don’t seem to know what this feature is, so I’ll explain again. A skater is given 3 tries, just 3 attempts to do a flatground line of their choosing. You bail your first trick and you’re done and that counts as strike one. Skaters don’t seem to like to have to film their 3 strikes…but it’s the cost of my friendship.

This time around the heat is on Steve Brandi…..good luck my old friend.

This doesn’t even really qualify as a post, but I think it’s pretty interesting. I was searching around online for inspiration for some new Theories shirts, and came across this image of the DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area of Brooklyn in the early ’70s.
But what’s amazing is that I just shot this exact same photo, but 30 years later. It’s insane to show how an area has gone from urban eye-sore to choice top-tier real estate…..I think I like the eye-sore version better.

Dudes….this book is frizzling the nerves and receptors of my brain at a comet’s pace!

I can’t even BEGIN to explain the insanity I’m discovering with the turn of each page.
Apparently, NASA has from it’s very beginnings been controlled and manipulated for occult and esoteric purposes. As insane as a claim as it might seem, the evidence is overwhelming. Countless missions to the moon and Mars have been planned to the most intricate detail to occur during key celestial alignments of important constellations that fall immediately over the landing sites and launch points of each vehicle. I’ll fill you in more in the comments section later.

Well, “The Towel” definitely beat us over the head with the news of Alex Olson and Poppalardo’s exits from Lakai shoes. Also of interest is the mass exodus seen last week from Adio shoes with the majority of the company’s staff quitting or getting fired and many of their star skaters jumping ship as well. This is indeed sad news to me as I am friends with many good people over at the Adio camp. But most shocking to me, and yet to be confirmed, was the news I heard about 411’s purchase by VIdeo Action Sports, the world’s largest distributor of action sports videos….AND, brace yourselves, the exclusive distributor of a video you may have heard of before called “Static III”.

1 HD camera, 2 skaters, 1 makeshift skateboard dolly with flatspots and literally 15 minutes at a dime-a-dozen cement skatepark….anyone tired of Overdramatized skateboarding yet?
