Static III will premiere in Tampa on October 11th, 2007 at the Centro Ybor Muvico Theater right smack dab in the middle of Ybor city, with doors opening at 7:30pm, film starting at 8:00.
Pat Stiener vibed you at that skatespot a few months ago….time to come heckle him during his video part.

Wrapping up editing the Static III video right now and stumbled across this old reel of 16mm film I shot on a trip through the Carpathian Mountains with Kenny Reed, Paul Shier, Dom Marley, Tristan Casey and Kenny Hughes on our journey to Trannsylvania and the remote village of Bran, Romania…..home to Dracula’s Castle. There’s no sound because this is the raw 60-70ft reel.

There’s probably no better way to cap off the night at the New York premiere of Static III.
The premiere will take place on Thursday, October 18th at The Village East Theater @ 181 Second Ave
Doors will be opening around 8pm and film is scheduled to play at 8:30.
We are sharing the event as a double-feature with Chapman who will premiere their short film before the Static showing.
The after-party is taking place at Novo Lounge at 290 Hudson St, between Spring and Dominick.
We’ll head over to the lounge after the premiere events wrap up around 10:30-ish. There will be a suggested donation entry to the after party of $3/person.
Everybody knows that this is an insanely special event for me on many levels, so I hope to see you all there.
