Sorry…
…about the lack of recent posts.
Been on tour with the band the past few days.
But I’m back on it again.
Breathe that sigh of relief.

So, somebody posted a comment on the site today asking where Kenny Reed is and it got me curious.
Last I heard from him he was in China or something but that was atleast a month ago.
He could easily have been to 15 more countries since then. Then, by some bizarre twist of fate, I get a random text from Kenny w/in minutes of reading that other kid’s comment. Here’s all it said:
“Hey I’m in Romania meeting Dragos in 30 minutes”
“Dude, I was in Moldova and Odessa, Sevastopol”
Se-wha?….Mol-who?
For those of you like myself, who haven’t a clue where any of these places are, click here and follow the little Sherpa hat to keep tabs on Reed’s creepy travels.

I’m taking the week off to help pick out an appropriate headstone for skateboarding’s grave.

Dan Magee was nice enough to give me a sneak peak of his hot-off-the-presses edit of Blueprint’s entry for “The Big Push” contest, put on by Document Skate Mag. The Big Push is a Red Bull style video battle between UK and European board companies who all travel the British Isles to film and edit the best video submission possible. Each team gets a guest skater and Blueprint was lucky enough to get Olly Todd on their team. Now, Dan sent his edit over my way the other night while I was hard at work editing STATIC III. And halfway through it I finally decided to turn it in and finally submitted my application to Wendy’s.
I seriously almost cried.
The dude’s got skills and, more importantly, a mountain of style. If you guys wanna see an example of REAL filmmaking, stay tuned on Document and Blueprint’s websites and hopefully you’ll be as blown away as I was. Thanks Dan for providing the “big push” I needed to finally tie these cinderblocks to my ankles and jump into the East River. Cheers!

I’m guessing atleast 90% of you have stumbled across the STATIC III site. But I was waiting until it was actually finished to make it officially public. Even though that “Static III” link has been active for over a month.

There’s still a thing or two we’d like to add, like a press page, but it serves it’s purpose for now.
So check it out if you haven’t already….
