I’m a painfully unorganized human….I’ll lose things for hours until I realize it’s been in my pocket the whole time.
I thought I accidentally threw away all of my rough edits from STATIC II. Then I recently noticed that one of my external hard-drives wasn’t plugged in this whole time. I probably won’t be winning the Pulitzer prize for impressive brain activity, but atleast now I have some offcut edits to post on the site.
These edits were never finalized or smoothed out….this specific one here is the song Ricky almost ended up skating to.

.!.
This is quite possibly the most disturbing thing I have ever seen……
“They’ve taken over congress, the white house, the judiciary…..”
And you thought global warming was going to bring about the end of the world.

Skateboarding is the broken-legged horse that needs to be taken out back and have a bullet put through it’s head to put it out of it’s misery.

A skater named Arnaud Dedieu decided one day that he wanted to organize an event that’d give local French filmers + skaters a way to get their stuff seen by others across the country and around the world, while also having a fun and challenging task of pulling off making an entire 5 minute video piece in just 1 week’s time. He invited filmmakers from 3 cities around France: Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux. As well as inviting three European companies to get involved in the mix. Cliche, Landscape and a new French company called Metropolitan. Some of the filmmakers were seasoned professionals, some were 13 yr old beginners. Somehow, I conned Arnaud into making me one of the judges
, and I flew out immediately to be a part of the unique event. All I can say is that I was blown away. Sure, some of the films looked like they had been made by…well, by 13 yr olds. But some of them were filmed beautifully as well as done creatively and with some seriously impressive skateboarding.
The result was the “La Rue Est Vers L’ Image”, and NO I don’t know what it means, I’m American. We bomb everybody and set the world on fire to avoid ever having to learn any language other than English…..and most of us are still having enough trouble with that one on it’s own.
Anyways, the 25 videos were widdled down to 9 finalists and the 2 company videos. You cna go on the website and pick your favorite then stay tuned to find out who wins.
Thanks to Arnaud for putting together an amazing event and for flying me Paris to hang out with everybody and skate with the Landscape guys for a few days.
Anybody else needing my incredible skills of judging other people’s lives and wanting to fly me around the planet please contact me ASAP.

Film is dying and/or dead………and digital is just gay.
Sitting in a room right now with Snowy, Joey Crack, Soy Panday, Alan Glass, Rory Milanes and Vivien Feil.
3 of them are zoned out completely but the rest of us are arguing the differences between the ingenuity and skill of MacGuyver vs. The A-Team.
A-Team wins, hands down….MacGuyver is just gay.

So you’re sitting at home alone right now….Everybody Loves Raymond reruns are on the TV and you’re eyes are glazed over in disinterest as you nurse that pint of Ben & Jerry’s “Chunky Monkey”. You’re life pretty much couldn’t get any more depressing, so you might as well just check out this photo set.
