bobby as amazing as everythings ever been that youve put out, to say your livelihood comes from skating must be a falsehood. when was the last time you had a foto ran or have ever made it known that you stilll care about skating. all in all shit is pretty trivial in the grand scheme of things, and it makes me thing your pretty out of touch if you cant recognize the natural wonder of style that is broussard. and at least homie gets coverage. im sure any fotographer would love to go out and shoot stuff of you so whats the issue? you get so damn critical of everything and fun gets extracted and you end up trapped in thoughts and your head. the longer you stay distant and removed from skatings eye, the less credibility you have and more you just seem like a bitter old man. which is understandable as most east coast og's have been given the shit end of the stick but then do something about it. stewart just needs to keep puttin out statics and the like and that keeps his legitmacy intact, as aside from squabbling, good styles and a variation in spots and locations and with lesser known skaters makes for a good video. so the fuck what if dude has to film redbull shit or whatever random stuff, its not like hes getting paid to have a swoosh on his forehead. regardlesss of it all, cant you and ricky just film some stuff on the weekends and put out some stuff of photos? thats the base of it all is that we just wanna see you guys skate and like pop's said its too much to know all the personalities and bullshit behind the scenes. you guys are best friends and bicker, all friends do that. lets just get on with what you guys are known for and should be doing, skating and putting out rad videos giving light to new peopel and places. puleo get on your shit again and get on lakai or some shit, skaetr owned without any issue of honor and just rip fool! do more fakie varial flips, shit was sick. in conclusion, do whatever you guys want i aint no body to say nothin but please make some effort to inspire the next, i dont want to have to explain why people in brown pants skating "different" spots arent original, because they are original, but it would be good to be able to point to a foto of you or ricky and say "just know your roots" thats all. you guys just want credit right? so get it out there that you guys still run tings. especially if i was in yalls positioin and see every asshole take a trip to newyork and get some shit on some steps and skellardoor, the best thing for you to do is get coverage and then that shit would fly cause everyone would see it. you cant excpect the masses to know the past and be well educated, skating is has gotten so big that it too now has a mass population of uninformed headless chickens aka the 80 percent son. so show them whatsup and get back up in this shit, im pretty sure we all waitin for you to come back and educate son. people aint just gonna hand you that proshoe, especially now, you best get on it and get people siked

Yeah, it was definitely a Forties ad (that came out around 2001). I've also seen footage of it, but tha god wasn't feeling it for some reason. I feel that it's also worth pointing out that the one other spot that Alex skated in the video you're referring to (Lurkers II) was also first skated by the Towel.

But I don't mean to beat up on Alex. After all, he did give us all this:

Yeah good call on that but my reference points are two video parts not the Forties ad, which I have never seen but would love to. Sorry to upset you but not having seen that ad is no connection to the length of time I've been skating, which is since around 97 if that matters at all. Still I'm curious about the trick and the filming of it regardless... If he did do it backside some 10 years before for a Forties ad then I might let it slide. But damn if he wouldn't be flogging that horse...

I'm late on this one (sorry, I've been trying to get a job), so who knows if the people in question will get to see this or feel like responding but...

TOWEL: You know in Static 3 when you did a flatground flip trick, then ollied up a little wedge, over some stairs into another little wedge? I believe it was the first footage of you in said video...

Well how about the fact Alex Olsen (who I'm sure could be considered to display all sorts of "dog" behavior) did the same trick, minus the flatground fliptrick to make it a "line", and yes I know he came from the other direction, in a video long before Static 3?

Did you (or Theorizer) not know about this being in a New York based video, some three years or so before Static 3 came out? Based on the shoe choice in said video, I'm certain you didn't film it first...

And while this is not directly what everyone is talking about here I'm interested to know your thoughts on it, as it seems to be a stark contradiction to the "rules" you preach you skate by? And I was always curious about it. When I saw the line, and the trick, and the reference, for the first time at the Static 3 premiere, I was shocked and kind of bummed out that you would film it in the first place.

And we can't use the Theorizer chose to put it in the video, not me excuse. Because you chose to film it too.

And you really need to quit it regarding the whole London spot thing. Your coming across like a lunatic. It's a whole other city, a whole other country, you clearly know nothing about. Based on the fact you have no interest in watching any videos that come out of there, or claim not to care about the hearsay concerning the tricks and spots there. In which case: how can you know who's done what where? How can you honestly think you were the first guy EVER to skate a spot there a certain way? Especially a spot you agree is right in the middle of a busy street. The fact is: who knows how many joe-hero's skated that thing, with or without a filmer, that no one has ever seen. Sure claiming firsts on spots in cities you live in, and know everything about, is one thing, but one that's thousands of miles away that you were visiting and being shown around? Get the fuck out of here.

And I'll see if I can track down that Channer clip for you some time.

The way you approach your skating is certainly admirable, but it's clear from some of the stuff that's been posted on here by you and others over the last few weeks, that you don't always stick to the rules that you yourself set forth. Which is no big deal, honestly, if only you'd stop going on rants about it every five seconds and making such a fool of yourself.

Online or otherwise.

Peep my words: No, dummy, this would be a case of the pot calling the kettle black if I depended on others to sustain my fake ass skateboarding career, even as I laughed at others for doing so. But as you know, I have no skate career, and as you might not know, I have never depended on anyone but myself to find shit to film. (Not saying the results were good, but I can safely claim this.) Anyway, after I saw you last I took the subway into midtown and then pushed back to the big homey's spot in BK. It was exactly what I felt like doing, and it was lovely. And drinking is kosher as all hell as far as I'm concerned, but if you can't spot the doggery in a visiting professional skater getting wasted at Max Fisch when he's not being taken to spots, then god help you.

So did he go to Max Fisch or what?
